tim blechmann, born 1981 in germany is a computer programmer and musician who since 2005 works and lives in vienna. he was running a small cd-r label moka bar records and was organizing sessions for improvised music called plattform für freie musik between 2004/05 in stuttgart which were documented on four releases by moka bar. he was studying physics & computer sciences at the universities of tübingen and stuttgart and now studies computer sciences at vienna univerity of technology and electroacoustic music at institute for computer based music and electronic media with wolfgang musil. he is developing nova, a graphical computer music system, similar to max/msp, pd or jmax. since 2002 tim performs as improviser of electroacoustic music with christian eremia, oliver prechtl, anja füsti, goh leekwang, thomas charbonnel, noid, wolfgang fuchs, klaus filip, mattin and others. among his current projects are:
